  GETTING THE RIGHT FIT
People don't all come in the same size, so neither do Talon    footpeg brackets.

Which Talon to order depends on several factors such as your inseam, which bike you ride, your seat position and your position in the seat. Naturally, we want you to get the proper size, but to do that we need your help. Using the left cylinder as the standard, sit in your normal sitting position wearing your riding boots and have someone measure how far the instep of your left boot is in front of or behind the top, left valve cover bolt.

VC Bolt Arrow

If your measurement was 2" or more in front of the front bolt, you will probably want the Eagle, assuming that you want your leg to be fully extended when resting on the footpeg.  It normally takes a rider who is 6' 1" or taller to need the Eagle.

If your measurement was between ¾" and 2" you probably need the Hawk. Your knee may be slightly bent, but that's better than not being able to reach the peg. And you may be comfortable with your boot resting on top of the peg.

If your measurement is much under an inch, go for the Falcon. Remember, comfort is the whole idea. The Falcon comes with a mounting hole approximately an inch behind the upper left valvecover bolt.

The whole point is for you to be comfortable. If, in spite of our best efforts, you wind up with a bracket that doesn't fit, then we'll make it right. All you will have to pay is the postage. If you simply aren't happy with the whole idea, then we will give you a full refund.  If you're not happy, we're not happy.

The Talon will fit any BMW Oilhead or Hexhead including the R, RT, RS or GS whether is is an 1100, 1150 or 1200.  It will not fit on the GS Adventure, however, due to the tubular engine guard.   You can get a few more details on the Installation page. If you have measured your reach and are ready to order, just go to the ordering page for instructions or click on Purchase wherever you see it.

Thanks for your help and we hope you enjoy riding with your new Talons!
